Terelec DCH8 heavy-duty modular contactors (32A to 63A) are designed for switching of higher-current loads including EV chargers, electric storage heaters, immersion heaters, pool and hot tub pumps and small commercial motor circuits. Available in 2-pole and 4-pole configurations with a 230V AC control coil.

The 2-pole 32–63A version is the most common choice for single-phase EV charger time-switching, enabling off-peak charging control directly from the consumer unit. The 4-pole version is suitable for three-phase loads up to 63A. All models mount on a standard 35mm DIN rail with contact configurations including 1NO+1NC, 2NO and 2NC (2-pole) and 2NO+2NC, 3NO+1NC and 4NO (4-pole).
