Terelec RCBOs combine residual current protection (RCD) and overcurrent protection (MCB) in a single 18mm DIN rail module. This makes them the preferred solution under the 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), which requires individual circuit protection to prevent nuisance tripping across unrelated circuits when a single fault occurs.

Our RCBO range (model DGB1NLE) is available in Type A and Type AC, with sensitivity ratings of 30mA, 100mA and 300mA, and current ratings from 6A to 40A. Type A RCBOs detect both AC sinusoidal and pulsating DC residual fault currents, making them the correct specification for all new domestic installations where modern electronic appliances, EV charger controllers, LED dimmers and heat pumps are in use.
