Terelec residual current devices (RCDs) provide life-saving protection against electric shock and fire caused by earth faults in electrical installations. Our DGL2 range is UKCA certified by Safenet Limited (Certificate Number 9114111023) and available in 2-pole and 4-pole configurations with current ratings from 25A to 100A.
We stock three RCD types to cover every installation requirement. Type AC detects standard sinusoidal AC fault currents and is suitable for traditional wiring. Type A detects AC and pulsating DC fault currents and is the recommended type for all new domestic and commercial installations under the 18th Edition. Type B detects AC, pulsating DC and smooth DC fault currents — essential for EV charging circuits, solar inverter installations and variable speed drive applications where standard Type A or Type AC protection is insufficient.
All Terelec RCDs mount on a standard 35mm DIN rail and are compatible with all standard consumer units and distribution boards. Select your required type, pole count, current rating and sensitivity using the filters or dropdown selectors.
