It is supplied with a locknut for secure fastening from inside the enclosure and is suitable for use with standard meter tails (16mm² and 25mm² twin-core) commonly found in UK domestic electrical installations.

Installation Notes

Remove the knockout from the consumer unit enclosure. Thread the cable gland through the knockout hole from outside, ensuring the rubber seal is in place. Secure from the inside using the supplied locknut. Feed the cable through the gland and tighten the compression nut by hand, then a quarter-turn with a spanner to achieve a secure, sealed entry. Always isolate the supply before working on a consumer unit.
